Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology project teams that work across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of Extract Transform Load (ETL), Analytical and Business reports, and Data Warehouse solutions for enterprise-level clients. Manage multiple Database Administration teams in deployments of coding, cloning, refreshing, patching, backups, and restoring of multiple middleware components. Coordinate with technical and functional teams, understanding the criticality of activities and scheduling the same accordingly. Manage analysis, design, programming, and testing for presentation, reporting, and data ETL layers of enterprise data warehouse. Manage weekly cold backups of database and perform database recovery activities. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Provide expertise in information technology project activities including maintaining instances and file systems and taking appropriate backups for security and consistency. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the information technology project team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.
Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Working in multidimensional data modeling including star schemas, Snowflake, and normalized and denormalized models, utilizing erwin Data Modeler;
- Participating in major database administration tasks including root cause analysis, troubleshooting, optimizing, and monitoring connections by leveraging Oracle Enterprise Manager, Amazon Web Services (AWS) Relational Database Services (RDS) Performance Insights, and Oracle EXPLAIN PLAN;
- Architecting, developing, testing, and documenting Data Integration and Migration ETL (Extract, Transfer, Load) solutions and frameworks built on platforms using PL/SQL and PL/pgSQL procedures and scripts;
- Utilizing erwin Data Modeler for designing, reviewing, reverse engineering, and documenting logical and physical data models including Star and Snowflake schemas;
- Working with client CIO organization and business teams to develop, review, finalize, and document Business Intelligence including reporting and dashboard requirements based on the identified key performance metrics, utilizing AWS RDS Performance Insights, CloudWatch alarms, and AWS Lambda and Glue;
- Guiding database administration tasks using Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Pump for development and test databases, including planning, developing, testing, and documenting backup and recovery procedures, database version upgrades, and export and import procedures for data dumps; and
- Developing platform installation guides for Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Git and Bitbucket installations for database source code check-in.
