Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Atlanta, GA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant Oracle tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpret and report on outputs. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors and develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Manage the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools, including Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (FCC) and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) to manage Oracle software advisory and implementation services for Manufacturing, Consumer, State Accounting Offices, Transportation and Logistics, and Medical Technology industries;
  • Managing all phases of the Agile project delivery and software implementation lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Utilizing Oracle Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, Financial Data Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) On premise and Cloud tools, and object-oriented programing, including Visual Basic (VB), to support and oversee build and development, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Conducting Financial close business process workshops for external and internal reporting, utilizing industry best practices and Oracle tools customization to understand current business processes and outline future processes in Oracle, including Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS) and HFM task manager module;
  • Overseeing assessments of current legacy systems and business architecture, utilizing gap analysis templates to design Oracle Financial Close system landscapes;
  • Developing functional specifications for custom developments, and interfacing with external systems via VB scripts and Oracle Integration tools, including FDMEE and Oracle Data Management (DM);
  • Performing Oracle FCCS, HFM, FDMEE, DM, and Financial Reporting production rollouts and providing post production Hypercare support and defect resolution, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel and Smartsheet;
  • Writing functional and technical system requirements and use cases, creating process flow diagrams, and finalizing system requirements, utilizing VB programing, MS Visio, and MS PowerPoint.
