Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology project teams that work across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing and implementation of Extract Transform Load (ETL), Analytical and Business reports, and Data Warehouse solutions for enterprise-level clients. Manage multiple Database Administration teams in deployments of coding, cloning, refreshing, patching, backups, and restoration of multiple middleware components. Coordinate with technical and functional teams and understand the criticality of information technology project activities and schedule the same accordingly. Manage information technology project analysis, design, programming and testing for presentation, reporting and data ETL layers of enterprise data warehouse. Manage weekly cold backups of database and perform database recovery activities. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Provide expertise in such activities as maintaining instances, maintenance of file system and taking appropriate backups for security and consistency. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:
- Working in multidimensional data modeling, including designing, reviewing, reverse engineering and documenting logical and physical data models (including star and snowflake schemas, normalized and deformalized models), utilizing Erwin Data Modeler, SQL Power Architect, IDERA ER/Studio, Google Data Studio and Redgate;
- Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and participating in aspects of the proposal development process and the development of proposal pricing strategies;
- Participating in database administration tasks, including root cause analysis, troubleshooting, optimizing and monitoring connections, utilizing SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer, Redgate SQL Monitor and IDERA SQL Diagnostic Manager (DM);
- Working with client internal and external IT and business teams to develop, review, finalize and document Business Intelligence, including reporting and dashboard requirements based on identified key performance metrics, utilizing Microsoft (MS) System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), Tableau and Power BI;
- Participating in database administration tasks, including automation testing, utilizing DTM Data Generator, NoSQL Unit, and Selenium IDE; and
- Utilizing Redgate tools, SQL Test and SQL Doc, MS tools, Teams, and Visio for development and testing of databases, including planning, developing, testing, and documenting backup and recovery procedures, database version upgrades, and export and import procedures for data dumps.
