Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Pleasanton, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs throughout the enterprise, utilizing SAP products. Manage day to day interactions with executives and sponsors; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the SAP community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Coordinating software development and implementation services utilizing Agile and Accelerated (ASAP) methodologies, SAP Material Management (MM), SAP Logistics Execution (LE), and SAP IS Retail (ISR) modules;
  • Participating in and delivering components of engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for large companies, utilizing SAP MM, LE, and IS Retail modules and participating in the identification of business requirements, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and functional, process, and scenario design, and defining support procedures;
  • Participating in full life cycle implementations of complex deliverables by leveraging SAP MM, LE, and IS Retail modules and building custom applications;
  • Participating in business transformation and on-going operations and maintenance services for the full suite of SAP software solutions;
  • Enabling medium and large-scale client go-to-market strategies by converting design inputs into process flows and developing solutions for commercial operations and supply chains using SAP MM, LE, and IS Retail modules;
  • Tracking application defects, managing defect resolution efforts and documenting resolution details; and
  • Conducting training sessions to facilitate SAP systems knowledge transfer, including creating training materials and reference guides.
