Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Denver, Colorado and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology teams including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage information technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of information technology project engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies for information technology projects. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Developing and implementing full lifecycle on-premise and cloud-based ERP applications, including IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (6x and 7x) on IBM WebSphere Application Server, HTTP Server, and Oracle WebLogic Server;
  • Providing technical and functional consultation concerning the monitoring and maintenance of clients’ Maximo environments, including performance best practices, fix pack installations, upgrades, IBM WebSphere 7x and 8x cluster configurations, load balancing, performance tuning, Active Directory integration and user accounts administration and setup, WSDL creation and mappings, and REST API setup and integration with custom and thirdparty Maximo tools and mobile solutions;
  • Performing installation, setup, and configuration of relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle 9 and 10g, DB2, and MySQL, for use with IBM Maximo EAM and Industry Solutions for Maximo;
  • Developing and designing custom application workflows and automation based on client’s business processes related to work management, inventory management, planning and scheduling work orders, and IT asset management, and configuring and conducting setup integration between Maximo and PeopleSoft and SAP ERP systems;
  • Configuring and customizing client’s Maximo modules using built-in tools, including Database Configuration, Object Structures, Automation Scripts, Domains, Security Groups, Users, Organizations, Report Administration, Escalations, Workflow Designer, E-mail Listener, and Web Services Library;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, lead fit-gap analysis, implement as-is and to-be business process designs, develop functional and technical requirements, design, prototype, test, train, define support procedures, and implement practical business solutions under multiple deadlines;
  • Defining project scope and objectives, developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules, detailed work plans, project estimates, resource plans, status reports and deliverables for clients using Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Jira, and ServiceNow ITSM processes; and,
  • Participating in pursuit teams, participating in and leading aspects of the proposal development process, and contributing to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
