Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in San Jose, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 3 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Agile, Scrum frameworks to lead information technology projects including Commerce implementation for B2B, B2C Applications, and Web Applications in General;
  • Participate in Business Process Planning and Reviews, Technical Reviews, Technical Audits, Standardization, Performance analysis and Issue Resolutions for the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Jira, collaboration tools including Teams and SharePoint;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Visio, Confluence, PlantUML, and PowerPoint;
  • Developing business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation and documentation utilizing UML and Confluence;
  • Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing Git, Junit, Jira, Jenkins, Peer Code Reviews, SAP Hybris platform and tools, Docker, Eclipse, IntelliJ, Sonar, JS Frameworks, Spring Framework [Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Boot and Spring Integration], ORM Frameworks, programming languages primary Java, NodeJS, Groovy, WebServices, and MongoDB;
  • Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes including Technical feasibility analysis, Change Impact analysis, Time Feasibility analysis, Operation Feasibility analysis using dependency and complexity analysis tools;
  • Performing data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle (SDLC), utilizing Impex Converters, Java, Groovy Scripts, Shell Scripts, and Swagger for Interface development and documentation; and
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing UML, Visio, PlantUML, and MS PowerPoint.
