Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Leader in Costa Mesa, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Lead the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address supply chain needs. Leading the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business objectives. Lead teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models that create and capture value for the organization, supported by a strong operations and supply chain foundation. Lead service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Lead the proposal development process and develop pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote supply chain knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leading business case analysis to understand opportunities for supply chain cost optimization, and helping organizations deliver critical programs on the decisions of cost, schedule, performance, and risk, utilizing Digital Synchronization, Machine Learning, advanced Microsoft (MS) Excel Macros, and E2Open;
  • Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities;
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices;
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and organizing and leading pursuit teams;
  • Overseeing the execution of client’s deliverables, including software selection, process per business specifications and agreed timelines; and
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis through Enterprise Resources Technologies (ERT) including Blue Yonder, SAP, and Oracle for developing solutions for client challenges.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $184,500.00 - $307,500.00.
