Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Leader in New York, NY and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Lead the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Leading the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients within Financial Services Industries. Lead client advisory on debit, credit, ach, wire, check, prepaid, and emerging methods of business to business and business to consumer payments. Lead vendor assessment for content management of financial services companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, road-mapping, and pricing assessment. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead the proposal development process and develop pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities; manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Leading teams that aim to provide organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, Innovative business models, utilizing PinDrop, Threatmetrix, and nCINO, and Payments Risk and Fraud methodologies;
  • Leading engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery, utilizing client engagement models and Statements of Work (SOW);
  • Organizing and leading pursuit teams, leading proposal development efforts, and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities;
  • Executing client’s deliverables, including banking and payments process mapping, business models evaluation, fraud risk model evaluation, per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices;
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis for developing solutions for client challenges, utilizing Socure, Emailage SPSS, SAS, advanced SQL, and Visio; and
  • Developing practical solutions and methodologies, developing "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents, leveraging Statista, Gartner, Aite fraud reports, and participating in public speaking events.
