Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Austin, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Develop Cloud-based software and technology solutions, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Enable end-to-end journey from OnPremise to Cloud within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Recommend, design, and implement Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions. Participate in various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Help facilitate continuous business improvement by planning and monitoring solution enhancements, upgrades, support packs, and scheduled functional releases. Help coordinate and manage test strategies, user behavior analysis, metrics and reporting.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Performing data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, interface development, and systems development utilizing Salesforce Data Loader, Data Explorer for Force.com, Force.com Migration Tool, Salesforce Workbench, Force.com IDE Plug-In, and Force.com Excel Connector;
• Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL), Lightning App Builder, Lightning Flow Process Automation, Salesforce Process Builder, and Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ);
• Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, and MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS);
• Automating development and deployment tasks using Visual Studio Code (VS Code) and Force.com;
• Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using managed and unmanaged packages, Independent Software Vendor (ISV) AppExchange package solution, Atlassian Jira, and MS SharePoint to meet functional needs for software applications;
• Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery life cycle for the design, development, and implementation of Jira, Git, Copado, and MS Azure DevOps;
• Developing multi-tier architecture applications utilizing Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex Controllers, Triggers, Batch Apex, SOQL and SOSL; and
• Troubleshooting development and deployment issues by debugging codes and interpreting logs utilizing Salesforce Debug Logs.
