Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Mechanicsburg, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Perform testing activities by understanding business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Create test cases for functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing for software implementation. Perform test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Route all test cases, testing results and reports for approvals as per established validation protocols.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Synchronizing Functional, Performance, and User Acceptance testing and test artifacts across all testing phases, utilizing SharePoint and Jira;
  • Creating functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Agile methodology;
  • Testing sub-components of larger application systems, integrating the applications with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, utilizing UiPath;
  • Strategizing and facilitating User Acceptance testing (UAT) phases, utilizing Jira and HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM);
  • Performing administrative process analysis, and configuring and customizing tasks to understand the technical requirements and validate the overall functionality as an integrated system; and
  • Performing assessments of existing information systems, and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) methodology.
