Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Senior Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have 1 year of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, MS PowerPoint, and Model View Controller (MVC) design structure, flowcharts, and spreadsheets;
  • Designing and developing applications using MyEclipse IDE, Java, J2EE, IE Batch framework, SOAP UI, Apache Tomcat, ANT, and Subversion (SVN), to meet functional needs for software applications;
  • Creating web applications using REST API, Command Line Interface (CLI), SOAP UI, Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), JavaScript, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Ajax, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), JQuery, Oracle SQL Developer, and Informatica, to provide service and data to users;
  • Architecting, implementing, and supporting Progress Corticon Business Rules Studio and Server, and IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) infrastructure and topologies;
  • Creating technical design and unit test case documents to track test cases, scenarios, and issues, utilizing IBM Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Jira, Juicebox, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), and IBM Jazz;
  • Performing critical component validations on MS Windows and IBM Mainframe for data validations, data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, and systems development, utilizing IBM WAS, SOAP UI, Oracle SQL Developer, and Data Management techniques;
  • Working with technical team members to produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing RQM, Rational Team Concert (RTC), and Jira; and,
  • Creating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), visualizations of data trends, data models, and optimization of batch schedules, utilizing Splunk, MS Office, Tableau, and AppDynamics, to support business and functional requirements within the Health Care and Financial industries.
