Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Manage software testing and implementation services for information technology projects to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Manage test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing and engineering. Manage day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors in relation to information technology projects; develop and maintain contact with top decision makers. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers for information technology projects; Work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence. Participate in proposals and orals to gain new client opportunities.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, managing activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio;
  • Researching user reported issues, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing Micro Focus LoadRunner, SiteScope, New Relic, and Nmon;
  • Overseeing technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Micro Focus Application LIfecycle Management (ALM) and MS Visio;
  • Reviewing Performance and Mobile testing for Micro Focus LoadRunner and Performance Center, Unified Functional Testing (UFT), and UFT mobile tools;
  • Coordinating test scripts, plans and cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing Micro Focus ALM and Atlassian Jira;
  • Creating and developing non-functional test case reports and documenting non-functional use and test cases for Performance testing;
  • Organizing with teams, including external vendors across different types of testing, utilizing Test Automation, Performance and Mobile testing, utilizing VMWare, and MS Azure Cloud; and
  • Coordinating and performing testing for systems implementations in multiple industries, including Life Sciences and HealthCare.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $155,542.00 - $188,875.00.
