Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Manager in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications. Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, any STEM field or a related field. Three years (3) of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative the employer is willing to accept a bachelor’s degree and five years of progressively responsible experience as noted above. Must have three years of experience with: Utilizing the Waterfall methodology to lead information technology projects, including Java-based web applications; Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, using MS Office, including Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, use case diagrams, and Jira; Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules and deliverables for clients, using MS Project and Gantt Charts; Leading development, testing, and deployment, utilizing MS Project (MPP), Jira, Remedy, and Jama tools; Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis, using MS Excel and Splunk; Tracking and reporting project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders, using Jira and Remedy.
