Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage the creation of innovative and transformative solutions that address supply chain needs. Oversee the creation of effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business objectives. Manage engagement planning and budgeting by defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery. Manage proposal development and oversee the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Improve internal processes and promote supply chain knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 15% Travel Required Nationally.

Requirements 

Requires a Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM degree, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing business case analysis to understand opportunities for supply chain optimizations, and helping organizations deliver critical programs on the decisions of cost, schedule, performance, and risk, utilizing Risk Assessment, Risk Analysis, Risk Mitigation Plan, Effective Risk Change control around Project Lifecycle, Parametric Estimation, Three - Point Estimation, Reserve Analysis, Schedule Network Analysis, Critical Path Method, Resource Optimization Technique, Capability Maturity Modeling Technique;
  • Participating in proposal development and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities using Project Design Proposal, Enterprise Value Map;
  • Managing engagement planning and budgeting utilizing Expert judgment, Cost aggregation, Data analysis, Historical information review, Funding limit reconciliation;
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers;
  • Utilizing Product Requirement Specifications, Product Interface Design, Product Process Improvement, Lean Product Development Technique, Product Capability Maturity Assessment, Vendor Assessment for Product Management Tools, Agile Product Model Design, New Product Introduction Solution Design, Technology Landscape Assessment to provide scalable and available designs to provide technical solutions;
  • Working with project management frameworks Project Initiation, Project Planning, Project Execution, Team Management, Conflict Management, Risk Management, Performance Control and Closure to help clients optimize and maintain applications to maximize Return on Investment (ROI);
  • Working across phases of the Product Lifecycle, including Concept to After Market stages (Concept, Design, Validation, Production, Post-Production, After Market) for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients; and
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis, utilizing tools like Tableau, Google Data Studio, Power BI, SAP HANA Data Model, IBM Infosphere, Informatica for purposes of developing solutions for client challenges.
