Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Gilbert, Arizona and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. Ensure that the design is transformed into code components as per design patterns and architectural principles by performing code reviews and unit test walkthroughs. Manage the implementation of data enrichment, lookup, filtering and data cleansing routines and solutions to improve data quality of the ingested data. Perform performance tuning of the components to meet the performance requirements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Overseeing data management teams, and performing data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling, utilizing Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Master Data Management (MDM), Informatica Axon Data Governance, and Erwin Data Modeler;
- Utilizing Jira, ServiceNow, Microsoft (MS) Excel, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, and Unix shell to coordinate and drive aspects of the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues;
- Designing and implementing reporting and visualization for unstructured and structured data sets, utilizing MicroStrategy, SAP Business Objects (BO), and Tableau;
- Delivering Data Warehousing and Analytics solutions, utilizing Oracle Data Warehouse, Informatica IDQ, and Informatica PowerCenter;
- Performing data analysis, including inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling for enabling data mining and resolving data mapping and data modeling issues, using MS SQL Server, MS Excel, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, and Erwin Data Modeler;
- Developing BI/DW solutions for enterprise-wide reporting and building customized applications, using Apache Cassandra and Hadoop in a big data environment;
- Developing, testing, and automating Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) procedures, using Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, Db2, Oracle, and PL/SQL to perform data warehousing and data integration functions;
- Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall lifecycle for the design, development, testing, and implementation of Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Analytics, and Data Integration solutions.
