Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Gilbert, AZ and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Overseeing the process of improving the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Oversee the technology needs of an organization, develop strategies to increase the company's profitability, and design and implement plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth. Manage and lead the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices

  • 15% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Managing and delivering components of engagements, evaluating client’s business, modernizing core systems, and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology;
  • Working across phases of the ASAP methodology, including Project Preparation, Realization, Final Preparation, Go-live, and support for solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Leading large-scale implementations across organizations globally, driving program governance, and managing client and stakeholder expectations;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders in process workshops to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, identify business processes, document process flow diagrams, and prepare business blueprint documents;
  • Managing project teams and project delivery and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope, and resources, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Teams;
  • Utilizing SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and SAP HANA Cloud Integration – Data Services (HCI-DS) to develop and perform successful design and implementation of project solutions;
  • Performing SAP production rollouts and providing postproduction Hypercare support and defect resolution, using HP Quality Center (QC); and
  • Improving the performance of ABAP programs, using SAP tools, including SAP Code Inspector, Performance Trace, Runtime Analysis, Global Statistical Records, and Global Performance Analysis.
