Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams for information technology projects to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process in relation to information technology projects; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Position requires three (3) years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Microsoft (MS) Project Professional, Jira, Jama, Agile application development, and Waterfall and Hybrid Methodologies to lead information technology projects;
- Coordinating teams that participate in Joint Application Design (JAD) or Sprint Planning, identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures, utilizing Jira, Rally, Product Backlog, Sprint Backlog, Unified Modeling Language (UML), Agile application development, and Waterfall and Hybrid Methodologies;
- Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients, using MS Project Professional, Jira, Jama, and MS SharePoint;
- Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis, using New Relic, Foglight, and Splunk;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, using Jira, Jama, Rally, UML, Agile application development, and Waterfall and Hybrid Methodologies;
- Participating in business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation, utilizing Jira, Jama, Rational Application Developer Integrated Development Environment (RAD IDE), Eclipse IDE, Apache Subversion (SVN), Bamboo, Apache Ant, and Maven;
- Guiding development, testing, and deployment, utilizing RAD IDE, Eclipse IDE, SonarQube, SVN, OpenClover, Bamboo, Agile application development and Hybrid Methodologies; and
- Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and setting the scope, using change management processes, including Agile application development, Waterfall, and Hybrid Methodologies.
