Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Architect in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience on the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Agile Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall model methodologies to lead information technology projects;
  • Participating in the identification of business requirements, functional, process, and scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Microsoft (MS) Project, Figma, and VersionOne;
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using MS Project Plan, Visual Studio Team System (VSTS), and Smartsheet;
  • Defining performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on stakeholders’ discussions, data, and trend analysis using MS Word and Excel;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Jira, Confluence, Figma, Adobe, MS Visio and Unified Modeling Language (UML);
  • Participating in business processes and driving business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Jira, Confluence, UML, MS Visio and PowerPoint;
  • Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing MuleSoft, .NET, Java, JMeter, Jenkins, and Docker; and
  • Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes including RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) Matrix methodology and utilizing BMC Remedy and ServiceNow for change request, service request, and release management process.
