Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Los Angeles, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires two years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project plans to deliver solutions using SAP Quick Sizer, Software Provisioning Manager (SWPM), Software Update Manager (SUM), and HANA Database Lifecycle Manager (HDBLCM);
  • Creating technical system requirements and use cases to apply SAP Support Packs, and Upgrades, Oracle Client patches, and perform Tuning, Resource Optimization of SAP Applications and Databases using Hana Cockpit, and Mini Checks, EarlyWatch Alert (EWA) Workspace, and Service Preparation Check (RTCCTOOL);
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project of future-state/to-be systems, processes and environments using DVM, Custom Code Lifecycle Management (CCLM), EWA Reporting, and Workspace;
  • Design and develop technical validation processes, performing technical analysis to identify gaps and propose remediation measures using SAP NetWeaver, Transport Expresso, Solution Manager (SolMan), Redwood, and HANA;
  • Managing customers SAP HANA platform including software lifecycle management, design and implement High Availability and Disaster recovery solutions, and configuring Remote Data sources;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, and implementation of SAP SolMan Functionalities including Focused Insights, Technical Monitoring, Data Volume Management (DVM), and Operation Control Center (OCC) Dashboards; and
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS), and On Premise Solutions.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $102,750.00- $171,250.00
