Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Houston,Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Will accept a bachelor’s degree equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing nCino, Empower, and Salesforce to provide software advisory and implementation services for clients in the Banking and Insurance industries;
    • Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, utilizing SNOW, Salesforce Dashboards, and Reports;
  • Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Octane, Azure DevOps, and Atlassian Jira;
  • Utilizing Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Gherkin, and Application Programming Interface (API) Karate or Postman scripts to build, maintain, and deploy Salesforce and Java based applications;
  • Monitoring application server performance of Investment Banking Applications, utilizing Unix;
  • Working across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, and implement nCino for enterprise-level clients;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies, Azure DevOps, and Jira; and
  • Utilizing ALM, Octane, Jira, Swagger, and Orthogonal Array (OAT) to support System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance (UAT), and Post Production testing, to ensure successful design and implementation of solutions.
