Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 15% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have 2 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Informatica Designer, Relational Databases, xml scripting, Shell Scripting, and Integration Broker to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;
  • Performing aspects of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Business Process Management principles, Statement of Work, Configuration Workbook, and JIRA;
  • Utilizing Enterprise Data Modelling principles, H2 Database, and API Documentation to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;
  • Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure using data warehouse concepts including relational databases to store structured data, data lakes to store unstructured data, Extract, Transform, and Load tools including Informatica, and Extensible Markup Language (XML) Scripts;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Balsamiq, MockFlow, Microsoft Visio, and Draw.io;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery life cycle for the design, development, and implementation of Workday and PeopleSoft ERP Systems;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using Workday, and Oracle; and
  • Deploying custom developed application, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training, utilizing PeopleSoft Application Designer, jMeter, HP Quality Center, and QTP Scripting.
