Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in Philadelphia, PA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Lead information technology projects including SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Direct the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining information technology project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 4 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Managing the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions, meeting specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs, utilizing the System Development life cycle (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall implementation approaches, Jira, SAP Partner Managed Cloud (PMC), and Smartsheets;
  • Leading business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), eminence, and point of view development;
  • Managing day-to-day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and organizing and leading pursuit teams;
  • Leading components of engagements, evaluating clients’ business and modernizing core systems, and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions, utilizing System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile and Waterfall methodologies;
  • Evaluating the technology needs of an organization, developing strategies to increase the company's profitability, and designing and implementing plans to comply with legislation and ensuring business growth, utilizing SAP best practices, financial best practices, and expertise of SAP system design;
  • Leading global project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing SAP PMC, Jira, HP Quality Center (HPQC), SAP Solution Manager (SolMan), HP Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM), and Smartsheet;
  • Executing client deliverables, including the project plan, charter, timeline, testing strategy, weekly status, go-live approach, and hypercare plan, per business specifications and agreed timelines, utilizing SAP and project management best practices; and
  • Leading and managing large SAP Finance implementations (FI) in the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) and Oil & Gas industries.
