Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Lead information technology projects and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Direct the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions. Select the most relevant SAP tools/techniques to meet specific requirements and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for key accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead the information technology project proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a key advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote SAP knowledge sharing in the team by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 4 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 6 years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have 4 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Managing the overall project strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; meeting specific requirements including business case, pricing, complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs, utilizing market leading project management tools including SNOW, Blueworks, JIRA, Solution Manager, HP, and MF ALM;
  • Leading business development activities, including proposal development and responses to Requests for Proposals, eminence, and point of view development; Performing role of counselor and coach, actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices;
  • Managing day to day interactions with executives and sponsors, developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers, and organizing and leading pursuit teams;
  • Leading components of engagements, evaluating client’s business and modernizing core systems and reimagining their business with SAP digital solutions;
  • Leading global project teams and project delivery, and tracking and resolving key issues and risks to budget, scope and resources, utilizing market leading project management tools including SNOW, Blueworks, JIRA, Solution Manager, HP, and MF ALM;
  • Executing client deliverables including RICEFW, Functional Integration Architecture documents Training QRGs, Operational guides, Test scripts for UT, UAT, ITC and regression testings Cutover list and release management guidelines, per business specifications and agreed timelines, utilizing Microsoft and SAP tools; and
  • Leading and managing large SAP S4 HANA implementations in EPPM (PS, PPM, CPM ) related process design, delivery and their integration with other core areas utilizing FI, AA, EAM, and SCM.
