Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Manager in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Lead information technology projects and the creation of innovative and transformative technology solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients. Lead vendor assessment for content management for companies by creating vendor selection framework, conducting demos, road-mapping, and pricing assessment. Manage service excellence by identifying key issues for significant accounts, determining project needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations in the context of the overall engagement. Lead the proposal development process and develop pricing strategies. Help secure relationships with qualified targets and decision makers to uncover opportunities. Manage the pursuit process and act as a trusted advisor to the pursuit team throughout the sales process. Improve internal processes and promote knowledge sharing in the team by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have four years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and six years of progressive related work experience.

Candidate must also have four years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Providing organization leaders with the capabilities and tools to build flexible, innovative business models, utilizing strategy development tools including scenario planning, options analysis, initiative prioritization, strategy road mapping, and interactive executive labs;
  • Defining deliverable structure, content and delivery while managing risks and quality of delivery;
  • Organizing, leading, and participating in pursuit teams, leading and contributing to proposal development efforts, and contributing to the development of pricing strategies for existing project extensions and new opportunities;
  • Executing client’s deliverables including engagement workplan, current state strategy assessment, options assessment, future state recommendations, operating model, and implementation roadmap per business specifications and agreed timelines;
  • Actively participating in staff recruitment and retention activities, and providing leadership and support for delivery teams, staff, and peers in local offices; and
  • Transforming and visualizing data, evaluating business processes, and drawing insights from analysis for developing solutions for client challenges, utilizing customer interviews, client stakeholder interviews, exploratory workshops, analysis of client and industry data, and demonstrated knowledge of leading industry practices.
