Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Tampa, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Preparing Business requirements to drive software development and implementation services, using SAP IS-U, including Billing and Invoicing (BI), Device Management (DM), Customer Service (CS), and Financial Contract Accounts Receivables and Payables (FICA);
  • Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, which include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues, using SAP IS-U modules, including DM, CS, Plant Maintenance (PM), and Billing;
  • Driving the design of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to SAP S/4 HANA Migration Cockpit and working with offshore development teams to develop solutions;
  • Building, configuring and monitoring interfaces to integrate IS-U functions, using SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), Object Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), OData, Process Integration/Process Orchestration (PI/PO), and XML, utilizing Geographical Information System (GIS), Itron, Microsoft (MS) Portal, P-CAD, and BizTalk;
  • Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, to be used for application development, using SAP IS-U;
  • Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Documents (FDD) for various Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Form objects utilizing SAP standard functionaities and programing techniques, including User Exits, Function Modules, Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), Business Add-In (BADI), Remote Functional Calls, Web Dynpro, Adobe, and Smartforms; and
  • Building and developing software integration production and developing software modules using SOAP API, Representational State Transfer (REST), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Proxies, and Web Services.
