Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Los Angeles, California and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do
Drive software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments big technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the insurance, financial services, healthcare, state and local government, telecom, and retail industries. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities; understand business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, and coordinating activities between workstreams and identifying changes in scope. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Drive test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
• Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities utilizing Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Confluence, using Waterfall, Agile and V-Model software development lifecycle methodologies;
• Reviewing test scenario and test cases and performing Functional testing, Regression testing, System Integration (SIT), User Acceptance testing (UAT), Automation Testing, Database and ETL testing, and Performance testing of web-based applications, databases and desktop applications including .exe;
• Performing testing of sub-components of larger application systems, integrating the applications with each other, and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance, utilizing LoadRunner;
• Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio, HP ALM, and Confluence;
• Conducting defect prevention meetings and tracking defects using Jira, HP ALM, Bugzilla, and qTest;
• Creating test strategy, test scripts, test plans, and test cases, logging defects, and generating test execution reports utilizing HP ALM, Bugzilla, Jira, and VersionOne using Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies;
• Executing automated testing utilizing Automation Tools including HP Quick Test Professional (QTP), HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT), and Tricentis Tosca; and
• Performing analysis and testing of interfaces using Apache Jmeter and SQL queries to extract data from databases and Data Lakes, and analysis using Microsoft Office Suite.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $119,025.00 - $198,375.00.
