Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in San Jose, CA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from OnPremise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Apex, Lightning Components, Lightning web components, Data Loader, Workbench, Developer Console, and Visual Studio to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;
  • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, planning, application configuration design, business process analysis, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations and urgent issues, utilizing Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow;
  • Utilizing Apex Data Loader and Workbench to design and develop data conversion strategies, as well as facilitate mapping and cleansing workshops;
  • Creating technical specifications, Installation Qualifications (IQ), release notes, screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing MS Visio, Draw.io, and Confluence;
  • Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, using Salesforce Customer Relationship Manager (CRM);
  • Performing root cause analysis and documenting results, using Jira, ServiceNow, or legacy ticketing systems;
  • Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation, using Apex Data Loader and Workbench; and
  • Deploying custom developed applications, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment and training, utilizing Agile methodology.

Annual Salary: $176,000 - $219,000
