Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in New York, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Jitterbit and DataLoader to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;
  • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects, change requests, escalations, and urgent issues, and utilizing Jira;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio;
  • Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions;
  • Designing and deploying end-to-end Cloud infrastructure, using Salesforce Platform;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions, using Salesforce Developer Console; and,
  • Deploying custom developed applications, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment, and training, and utilizing Visual Studio.

Annual Salary: $ 167,000- $ 175,350
