Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in McLean, VA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams, and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Researching user reported issues with software systems, identifying root causes and resolutions, and implementing fixes, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, Jira, Planview LeanKit, MS Azure DevOps, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA);
  • Tracking implementation defects, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details, utilizing Jira, Planview LeanKit, and MS Azure DevOps;
  • Working across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement Salesforce solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that fully meet client needs, utilizing Jira, MS Azure DevOps, Planview LeanKit, and MS Excel;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery, and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
  • Utilizing test plans to support System Integration, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-end (E2E) testing to ensure successful design and implementation of Salesforce solutions including Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote); and
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state, also known as to-be systems, processes, and environments, utilizing MS Visio, InVision, and MS PowerPoint.
