Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on any combination of education, experience or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires two years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Driving the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights, leveraging SAP Financial Accounting & Controlling (FICO), SAP Lease Administration by Nakisa (SLAN), Microsoft (MS) Excel, and Agile Scrum Methodology;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Project, and Agile Methodology;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes, and environments, using MS Visio and MS PowerPoint;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders, using MS Project and MS Excel;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP FICO, Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and Agile Scrum;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, using SAP FICO, SAP SLAN, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Agile Scrum;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents, utilizing MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Excel, and MS Project to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP FICO and SAP SLAN projects, and Agile methodology.
