Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Tampa, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive software development and implementation services to address manufacturing, financial, human resources, customer relationship management, supply chain, and other business needs, utilizing SAP products. Synthesize overall operations strategy by analyzing a wide variety of business solutions; select the most relevant SAP tools and techniques to meet specific requirements, including business case, pricing, or complex financial analysis, and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Drive the design, configuration, test, and support of SAP business modules to develop technical objects, including module and reports. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing data migration best practices to drive software development and implementation services of SAP S4/HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) data conversion from disparate legacy systems;
  • Driving various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for SAP implementation, which include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, data cleansing, data consolidation, code development, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues, using SAP Data Services (DS), SAP HANA Studio, SAP Information Steward, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and ServiceNow;
  • Driving the design, configuration, testing, and support of Informatica, Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Oracle Business Intelligence Data Warehousing Administration Console (Oracle DAC), and HP ALM to develop technical objects, including modules and reports;
  • Building, configuring and monitoring interfaces to integrate SAP S4/HANA and MDG with third party systems;
  • Driving the creation of technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data and process models, source and target field mappings, transformation rules, validation reports, load jobs and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) code, to be used for application development and data conversion, utilizing SAP DS, SAP HANA Studio, SAP Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI), and IDocs;
  • Developing Technical Design Documents (TDD) from Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for various reports, conversions, and enhancements utilizing Informatica, Oracle SQL Developer, OBIEE, SAP DS, and SAP S/4 HANA;
  • Driving the design of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) including, Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), Source-toPay (S2P), SAP Material Master (MM), Location Master, and Inventory Management for integration and to work with offshore development teams to develop solutions.
