Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Atlanta, GA and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; provide application analysis to meet software architecture and infrastructure goals. Define systems strategy, develop system requirements, design, prototype, and test custom technology solutions, and support system implementation. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, and coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Designing sub-components of larger systems, integrating applications with each other, and continuously optimizing system structure, utilizing Oracle Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) Suite, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Fusion Middleware platform;
  • Utilizing Python, Apache Maven, and WebLogic Scripting Tool (WLST) scripts to build, maintain, and deploy Java, Java 2 Platform Enterprise Edition (J2EE), and Oracle WebLogic based applications;
  • Monitoring application server performance of Oracle WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat servers utilizing Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), and Oracle Management Cloud (OMC);
  • Working across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test and implement Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Representational State Transfer (REST), Extensible Markup Language (XML), and JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) based Cloud Native solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Utilizing Apache JMeter, Simple Object Access Protocol User Interface (SoapUI), and Postman to support Integration and Performance testing to ensure successful design and implementation of solutions;
  • Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS); and
  • Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using Jenkins, and GitHub.
