Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Dallas, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between work streams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent (willing to accept 3 year US or foreign degree) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing data validation processes, performing data analysis, and profiling to identify data gaps using ASAP methodology, Agile methodology, IP5, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) tools, HP Quality Center, JIRA, and SAP Solution Manager;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing SAP Solution Manager, HP QC ( Quality Center), JIRA, AZURE, Confluence, SAP ASAP methodology, and Agile methodology;
  • Working across phases of the SAP ASAP methodology, Agile methodology during project life cycle, including system design, FUT (Functional Unit Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phases, for the design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP Finance, SAP Controlling, SAP Professional Services, SAP Leasing, SAP IS-Banking General Ledger, AR (Accounts Receivable) and AP (Accounts Payable) Banking, Over-Head Controlling, Profitability Analysis, New GL Migration, S4 HANA Finance, Special Purpose Ledger, and S4 HANA brownfield migration modules;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state or to-be systems, processes and environments using SAP Solution Manager, HP Quality Center, JIRA, AZURE, Confluence and SAP ASAP methodology, and Agile methodology;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using SAP Solution Manager, HP Quality Center, JIRA, AZURE, Confluence and SAP ASAP methodology, Agile methodology;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP General Ledger, AP, AR, Banking, OverHead Controlling, Profitability Analysis, New GL Migration, S4 HANA Finance, Special Purpose Ledger, S4 HANA Brownfield Migration;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions using SAP General Ledger, AP, AR, Banking, Over-Head Controlling, Profitability Analysis, New GL Migration, S4 HANA Finance, Special Purpose Ledger, S4 HANA Brownfield Migration, SAP Solution Manager, HP Quality Center, JIRA, AZURE, Confluence, SAP ASAP methodology, and Agile methodology;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing SAP General Ledger, AP, AR, Banking, OverHead Controlling, Profitability Analysis, New GL Migration, S4 HANA Finance, Special Purpose Ledger, S4 HANA Brownfield Migration, SAP Solution Manager, HP Quality Center, JIRA, AZURE, Confluence, SAP ASAP methodology, and Agile methodology; and
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans and configuration documents, utilizing Microsoft Visio, ARIS, Business Process Modeling Language (BPML), SAP Solution Manager, IndustryPrint5 (IP5) to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP General Ledger, AP, AR, Banking, Over-Head Controlling, Profitability Analysis, New GL Migration, S4 HANA Finance, Special Purpose Ledger, and S4 HANA Brownfield Migration projects.
