Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Tampa, FL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have 2 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Oracle HCM Cloud to provide Oracle software advisory and implementation services for the Consumer, Retail, Financial Services, Energy and Resources, Government and Public Sector, Life Sciences and Healthcare, Technology, Media, and Telecom industries;
  • Driving the development and implementation of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights, leveraging Oracle HCM for Core HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits Administration, and Self-Service;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing Jira, ALM, and Octane;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle HCM solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Jira, ALM, and Octane;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, using Oracle HCM Cloud; and
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Project Management Center (PMC) and MS Project.
