Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive digital and service UX/UI (User Experience and User Interface) design, practicing a rigorous design process that includes ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping and testing, and utilizing these designs to drive innovative and transformative technology solutions that address clients’ next generational needs. Drive user centered design (UCD) process methods to digital solutions from concept to launch; Leverage storytelling, design thinking, and human-centered design to drive innovation and user-centric ideation projects forward with a focus on Agile methodology and customer-first design. Create Deloitte-customized information architectures, user flows and journeys, personas and scenarios, and wireframe artifacts. Facilitate workshops and user testing sessions that meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing service blueprinting, user interviews, customer journey mapping, information architecture design and wireframing to create digital and service UX/UI design and design processes, including ethnographic research, synthesis, insight generation, ideation, design, prototyping, and testing;
  • Designing and delivering modern solutions to improve flexibility, scalability, and cost management, utilizing expert design reviews, Artificial Intelligence (AI) experience design, natural language understanding and modeling, conversational UX design techniques, conversational UI augmented, virtual and mixed reality, and motion design;
  • Establishing UCD process methods, utilizing Double Diamond design process model and Human-centered design approach;
  • Creating designs from concept to prototyping, leveraging Sketch, InVision, Figma, Microsoft Axure, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript;
  • Gathering functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, utilizing Jira and XMind;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverables status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing Jira, Asana, and Agile methodology;
  • Applying design principles, methods, techniques, and design systems of creative disciplines from Branding, Visual Hierarchy, Typography, Grids, and Color Theory; and
  • Creating cover artwork, illustrations, and photo manipulation and editing, utilizing Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
