Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Morristown, New Jersey and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires two years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing Agile methodology and HP Agile Manager;
  • Working across phases of the hybrid-agile methodology including planning, analysis, and build phases for the design, development, testing and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes and environments using best business practices;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders using status reports on MS PowerPoint;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments;
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans and configuration documents, utilizing project management tools to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP ERP projects.
