Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Will accept a bachelor’s equivalent based on any combination of education, experience, or credentials as determined by a professional evaluation service. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Integrated Development Environment (IDE), SQL Developer, and Agile Methodology to perform data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, and interface development;
  • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects, change requests, and escalations and urgent issues, utilizing Splunk, Java, WebLogic Server, REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Putty, Postman, JDeveloper, and Tomcat;
  • Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Visio and Scrum methodology;
  • Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Identity as a Service (IDaaS) solutions;
  • Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure, utilizing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft (MS) Azure;
  • Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions, utilizing Oracle Identity Cloud Service, Okta, and Azure;
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture, utilizing Disaster Recovery (DR) sites, High-Availability (HA), and Resilient Architecture; and
  • Deploying custom-developed application, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, production deployment and training, utilizing Java, Tomcat, HTML, and Agile methodology.
