Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Houston, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive Oracle software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions in the Insurance, Financial Services, Healthcare, State and Local Government, Telecommunications, and Retail industries. Improve the ability to react in the digital world and enable innovation and scalability, remove performance barriers, modernize core systems, and reimagine their business with Oracle-based solutions. Participate in setting Oracle engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Leverage automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Utilizing Jira, HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) to provide Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud advisory and implementation services for the retail, educational, services, and healthcare industries;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile based project delivery and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to design, develop, test, and implement Oracle HCM Benefits Administration and Absence management solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Conducting workshop for analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes and environments to support project design of future-state and to-be systems, processes and environments, utilizing Visio workflows;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions and interfacing with external systems via Oracle Fusion Middleware, using business requirement documentation template;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption and maintenance in client environments, utilizing Agile methodology;
  • Configuring Oracle HCM Cloud clound along with developing basic technical system requirement to support configuration using Custom code, Structured Query Language (SQL) Developer and Oracle Fusion Transaction Business intelligence (OTBI); and
  • Performing data conversions activity utilizing Oracle HCM Data Loader to seamlessly convert cleaned up legacy data into Oracle HCM Cloud.
