Work You’ll Do
Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Driving implementations of Cloud-based solutions using Cloud Platform knowledge in AWS, GCP and Azure which includes data cleansing and conversions, interface design and development, cloud migrations and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC);
- Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying enterprise solutions and functionalities and integrations, establishing key project milestones, and developing high-level architecture;
- Design and architect sub-components of larger application systems. Integrate the applications with each other and continuously optimizing the system structure to improve stability and performance;
- Owning the creation of technical and functional specifications, including end-user migration schedule, current architecture diagrams, data models, detailed high-level design, service configuration guide and testing requirements, to be used for application development and cloud solution implementations;
- Defining project approaches and driving application modernization implementation activities across the solution delivery lifecycle, including requirement gathering, user story definition, process design, and assessment of business and launch readiness;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing project management tools including Microsoft Project and native road mapping applications;
- Driving aspects of conflict resolution and end user testing on projects and workstreams, including monitoring and identifying project issues in order to mitigate risks by researching user reported issues with software applications including JIRA and HP ALM; and
- Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery lifecycle for the design, development, and implementation of Cloud Platform, including change management and release orchestration for enterprise-level clients.
