Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Working across phases of the Accelerated SAP (ASAP) methodology, including blueprint and realization phase, final preparation, and Go-Live activities for the design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (SAP FICO) module;
  • Analyzing and documenting current-state systems, processes, and environments to support project design of future-state/to-be systems, processes, and environments using ASAP methodology;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP FICO, including submodules Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Asset Accounting (AA);
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions using SAP FICO, including AP, AR, GL, AA, and ASAP methodology;
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments, utilizing SAP FICO, including AP, AR, GL, AA, and ASAP methodology; and
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents, utilizing ASAP methodology to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP FICO, including AP, AR, GL and AA projects.
