Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive SAP software advisory and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Improve the ability to react in a digital world and enable scalability, remove performance barriers, enable innovation, and modernize core systems and reimagine their business with SAP digital solutions. Participate in setting SAP engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities. Provide application analysis to meet SAP architecture and infrastructure goals. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools to produce analysis and algorithms that help businesses make better decisions.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing data validation processes, and performing data analysis and profiling to identify data gaps, using Microsoft (MS) Excel, SAP Business Object Data Services (BODS), SAP Business Intelligence (BI) platform, and SQL data server;
  • Driving the development and implementation of largescale data ecosystems, including data management, governance, and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights, leveraging SAP Material Master Data Management (MMDM) modules and SAP S/4HANA;
  • Creating technical and functional system requirements and use cases, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, and process models, utilizing MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Visio;
  • Working across phases of the SAP Activate Methodology and Agile Implementation lifecycle, including reiterative sprints for the design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions for enterprise-level clients, utilizing SAP MMDM;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communication of updates to internal and external stakeholders, using Agile approach based on project management tools, including Jira Software, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, and Google Drive;
  • Driving requirements gathering and planning, architecture, testing, implementation, and deployment, utilizing SAP MMDM;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions, using SAP Activate Methodology based on Agile project approach with tools, including MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Jira;
  • Creating design workshop content, functional specifications, cutover plans, and configuration documents, utilizing Jira, MS SharePoint, and MS Teams to communicate project tasks for implementation of SAP MMDM projects.
