Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud; may perform design and development within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Operating Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Drive various aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which may include requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, and escalations of urgent issues. Design and develop data governance standards, roles and responsibilities; design data conversion strategies and facilitate data conversion, mapping and cleansing workshops to support the clients’ conversion to Cloud. Perform assessments of existing information systems, identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Candidate must also have 2 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Defining project approaches and driving Data Analytics and Reporting (including Data Acquisition, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Report Development, Oracle Cloud, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Incorta) implementation activities across the solution delivery lifecycle, including requirement gathering, user story definition, process design, and assessment of business and launch readiness;
  • Performing implementation and integration of Cloud-based solutions, utilizing AWS and Oracle Cloud;
  • Developing detailed implementation plans for deploying Cloud Data Analytics and Reporting solutions (including Oracle Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Relational Databases, Tableau, and Incorta), functionalities and integrations, establishing key project milestones, and developing high-level architecture;
  • Driving aspects of Project Management & Implementation Delivery (including Leading Design Sessions, Managing Microsoft Project Plan, Status Reports, Release Planning, Resource Planning, and Budget Planning) for projects and workstreams, including monitoring and identifying project issues in order to mitigate risks;
  • Developing and reviewing required project documentation, including presentations, gap analysis reports, data analysis and mapping documents, process flow diagrams, business and functional requirement document, and roles & responsibilities documentation; 
  • Working across all phases of the Agile solution delivery lifecycle to design, develop, test, and implement cloud-based applications, utilizing Oracle Cloud, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Tableau, Incorta, and Relational Databases technologies for enterprise-level clients in the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Consumer industries;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze client requirements, and translate requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing Technical & Functional Requirement Documents, Requirement Tracebility Matrix, Data Architecture Diagrams, Data Mapping, and Data Lineage Document; and
  • Designing and delivering user manuals and training for solutions to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and maintenance in client environments, utilizing Runbooks, Visio Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, PowerPoint Presentations, Technical Guides, Design Documents, and Live Tool Demos.
