Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in McLean, Virginia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive innovative and transformative solutions for clients that address their next generational needs. Create effective visions, strategies and roadmaps, in direct alignment and support of business and technology objectives for clients. Develop future-state business process and key design decisions for Information Technology and Operational environments. Conduct market analysis, including determining current and future competitive environments of business entities. Conduct technical enablement assessment to determine key process and organizational gaps in current business environment. Analyze industries to synthesize quantitative and qualitative financial market information, key players, and industry trends. Analyze financial statements and budgeting processes to identify cost levers for reduction and optimization. Assist clients in developing a shared services organization and improving back-office efficiencies by eliminating duplication and streamlining processes with a focus on stakeholder management via feasibility studies, global best practices and standards, industry benchmarks, and process scopes.

  • 50% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field and two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Designing enterprise, customer and operating model strategies and advising clients on how to grow their business and achieve target cost structures, utilizing Strategic Choice Cascade framework, Agile, and Lean Six Sigma;
  • Developing and documenting internal business services processes and metrics consistent with six sigma and lean methodologies, utilizing quantitative analyses and primary and secondary research;
  • Providing clients with industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling to produce analysis and algorithms, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel, Tableau, MS Power BI;
  • Utilizing MS Visio, PowerPoint, and human centered design thinking to provide scalable designs for technical solutions;
  • Capturing business requirements, creating high-level design documents, and implementing analytical solutions, utilizing MS Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Working across all phases of the Strategic Choice Cascade framework for product and strategy insight solutions for enterprise-level clients;
  • Developing integrated operating model strategies by assessing a clients business challenges, needs, and gaps, diagnosing root problems, and recommending an asset-leveraging focused solution, utilizing Capability Assessments, fit-gap analysis, and benchmarking; and,
  • Designing and implementing transformations, enhancements, optimizations, and improved business processes that are flexible and resilient to changing operational strategy.
