Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist in Grand Rapids, Michigan and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document, support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have two (2) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Candidate must also have two (2) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application configuration design, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues utilizing Agile Framework and Azure Devops tools;
  • Utilizing IBM App Connect Enterprise(IBM ACE),IIB to design and develop data conversion strategies, facilitate mapping , cleansing workshops and build common re-usable components on IBM ACE, WTX, WMQ to define audit processes, capture exceptions and log processes;
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management IBM RTC,(Git), build tools, CI and CD tools, testing, and operations;
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture, utilizing Redhat Openshift and AWS;
  • Deploying custom developed application, including process design, code development and review, unit testing, configuration and creating a developer-friendly CI and CD platform, and working with Kubernetes, Helm charts , service mesh applications and Performing root cause analysis and documenting results utilizing Kibana and Splunk;
  • Performing application and data migration by architecting frameworks for standardization and automation using Containerization technology including Docker and Jenkins, Terraform, and Kubernates; and
  • Developing integration mappings to connect systems utilizing Oracle, Flat files, Mainframe and Design and build common re-usable components to define audit processes, capture exceptions, and logging processes.
