Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Specialist in Austin, TX and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Drive software design and development services to help companies address Supply Chain business processes and other business needs, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, and testing to deployment, as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Drive assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities for Supply Chain network optimization, including baseline and optimized scenario modeling, center of gravity analysis, sequential objective optimization, landed cost analysis, scenario comparative assessment, and sensitivity analysis. Provide industry insight and analytical support using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools to produce analysis and algorithms. Participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, develop work plans for components of engagements, coordinate activities between workstreams and identify changes in scope. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document. Support the creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.

  • 80% Travel required nationally.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Candidate must also have 2 years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Jupyter Notebook in Python to perform design and development of Machine Learning Algorithms and Tableau for data visualization;
  • Manipulating large data sets and performing ETL in SQL;
  • Proposing analytic solutions to both technical and nontechnical audience in response to RFPs;
  • Using statistical methodologies, including multivariate regression, Bayesian statistics, categorization methods, time series and survival analysis;
  • Utilizing data visualization tools, including Tableau for full-stack data analysis, insight synthesis and presentation;
  • Leveraging automation, cognitive and science-based techniques to manage data, predict scenarios and prescribe actions utilizing Python and R; and
  • Modeling expertise using a variety of regression, supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
