Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Senior Analyst in Dallas, Texas and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Develop Cloud-based software and technology solutions, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud within the following focus areas: Cloud messaging, ground-to-Cloud connectivity, Cloud Strategy, Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development, Cloud Integration & APIs, Cloud Migration, Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering, and Cloud Managed Services. Recommend, design, and implement Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Managed Cloud, Server Virtualization, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Desktop as a Service (DaaS) solutions. Participate in various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Help facilitate continuous business improvement by planning and monitoring solution enhancements, upgrades, support packs, and scheduled functional releases. Help coordinate and manage test strategies, user behavior analysis, metrics and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Performing data cleansing, data conversions, interface design, interface development, and systems development utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lambda Glue jobs to process and curate data, and using AWS S3 Cloud Object Storage for standardized and massaged data;
  • Converting legacy data according to current system’s data structure utilizing data warehousing concepts, using Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) tools, including AWS Glue, Step Functions, and GraphQL;
  • Researching user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implementing fixes, and liaising between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams, utilizing Jira ticketing tool, local and developer testing, and peer testing;
  • Automating development and deployment tasks using Bamboo Server Artifacts, including engineering, testing, and production environments;
  • Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure using AWS, utilizing IntelliJ and Pycharm;
  • Working across all phases of the Agile and Waterfall project delivery life cycle for the design, development, and implementation of cloud-based applications using AWS Cloud;
  • Troubleshooting development and deployment issues by debugging codes and interpreting logs utilizing AWS Logs and Kinesis data streams; and
  • Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing PagerDuty, using Agile Epics and User Stories.
