Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Nashville, TN and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements 

Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, any STEM degree, or a related field and three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressively responsible related work experience. Must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following; Utilizing Java, Spring, Hibernate, Webservices (REST and SOAP), Oracle, and Apache Maven to lead information technology projects, including Web and Cloud projects; Managing teams that participate in the identification of process design (including scenario design and flow mapping), prototyping, testing and defining support procedures, utilizing Use Case and Data Flow Diagrams, JUnit, and Splunk; Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedules and deliverables for clients, utilizing Eclipse, Java, Oracle, SharePoint, and Atlassian Jira; Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate functional and technical requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs, utilizing System Architecture and Low-level (LLD) diagrams, Design documents, and Workflow documents; Performing Technical Lead activities, including leading development team, deployment, assigning tasks, monitoring team, providing and implementing solutions, utilizing JUnit for testing, and maintaining timeline to ensure quality completion of project; and Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing scope utilizing change management processes, including reporting, estimating, developing, and implementing change plans methodologies.
