Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Richmond, Virginia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope. Manage advisory and implementation services of large-scale data ecosystems, including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights to help companies unlock the value of big technology investments. Manage the full data delivery lifecycle for implementations, including defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines and schedule and facilitate meetings related to information technology projects. Ensure that the design is transformed into code components as per design patterns and architectural principles by performing code reviews and unit test walkthroughs and perform risk assessments to develop response to strategies. Manage the implementation of data enrichment, lookup, filtering and data cleansing routines and solutions to improve data quality of the ingested data for information technology projects. Perform performance tuning of the components to meet the performance requirements. Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Assess current or future customer needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers and conducting surveys. Direct activities of project personnel including, performing role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for teams and staff in local offices. Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Microsoft (MS) SharePoint, MS Office, ServiceNow, Jira, and Agile & Waterfall methodologies, to generate insights leveraging on-premise, web, and cloud-based platforms;
- Participating in information technology project teams that perform data management, including master data, metadata, data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data modeling, leveraging Informatica PowerCenter, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Control-M, and Tidal;
- Providing industry insight and analytical support, using data mining, pattern matching, data visualization, and predictive modeling tools, including Informatica and SAP Business Objects (BO), to produce analysis and algorithms;
- Formulating and creating functional and non-functional specification documentation for product development and roadmaps, business process reengineering, business modeling, analytical and business rules definition, data architecture, and user interface and experience, utilizing MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and MS Office;
- Improving data discovery, sourcing, modeling, and analytics, by defining process mapping, decision mapping. and data governance, to support the creation of data flows and models, utilizing Informatica PowerCenter, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, Control-M, and Tidal;
- Working on complex information technology engagements in the Healthcare industry space, with relevant data management consulting in master data, metadata, data architecture, data conversion, data governance, and data quality; and
- Working with information technology teams on the development of master data architecture to support master data management, quality, and governance capabilities, using Informatica PowerCenter, MS SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, and SAP BO.
