Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Atlanta, Georgia and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You’ll Do

Manage information technology projects including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build and deploy solutions for information technology projects. Manage and deliver components of engagements, within the full software development life cycle for information technology projects. Participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers; and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have three (3) years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and five (5) years of progressive related work experience. Candidate must also have three (3) years of related work experience involving each of the following:

  • Utilizing Visual Studio, TFS, GitHub and Microsoft Project Management to guide information technology projects including Custom Cloud based application, SharePoint Migration to Cloud, Custom Web Based Application enhancement and maintenance;
  • Coordinating teams that participate in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design including scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing Visio diagram and GitHub;
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using Agile VersionOne and Microsoft Project management;
  • Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using gap analysis tools and Joint Application Development meetings, collaborating between business users and technical teams;
  • Coordinating business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Visio, MS Word and MS PowerPoint;
  • Leading development, testing and deployment, utilizing Scrum and Kanban Agile, including Spiral Waterfall methodologies, Visual Studio, PowerShell, TFS and GitHub tools; and
  • Creating plans to mitigate risks and issues over the course of the project, and managing the scope using change management processes including Accelerating Implementation Methodology (AIM) and DevOps methodologies.
