Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Project Delivery Manager in Columbus, Ohio and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Manage information technology projects, including development and implementation, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Manage technical teams to architect, build, and deploy solutions. Manage and deliver components of information technology projects engagements, within the full software development life cycle. Participate and lead aspects of the information technology projects proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies. Perform role of counselor and coach; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices. Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team, and developers/testers, and work with IT infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications.

Requirements
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience. Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:
- Utilizing Agile, Iteratvie, and Waterfall methodologies to lead information technology projects, including Consolidated Compliance and Enforcement data system and Ohio State Taxation Accounting and Revenue System;
- Participating in the process design, scenario design, flow mapping, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures utilizing UML Sequence diagrams, Use cases, Java, Spring and JPA framework, and Software Development Life Cycle for project implementation including go-live and post go-live support;
- Developing, maintaining, and managing project schedule and deliverables for clients using Java, JEE based frameworks including Spring, Spring Batch, and Web services, Java Persistence API (JPA), JavaServer Faces (JSF), Hibernate, Primefaces, Enterprise Java Bean (EJB), Jquery, Java Script, Maven, GIT, and ServiceNow;
- Interfacing directly with client stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements, analyzing client requirements, and translating requirements into project designs to deliver solutions that satisfy client needs using Technical design documents, Complex SQL queries, Reusable UI components, Sequence diagrams, Use case diagrams, and Flow charts;
- Participating in business processes and driving customer requirements, scenario development, and technical implementation utilizing Eclipse IDE, Oracle, Spring framework, SOAP, XML, RESTFUL web services, JSON, Oracle, SQL, PL-SQL, Jira, ServiceNow, and SVN;
- Leading development, testing, and deployment, utilizing Java, JEE framework, Microservices architecture using Springboot, JMS, Spring MVC, and EJB in business layer, Hibernate for Database interaction, Junit for Unit testing, and Jenkins for continues integration and deployment;
- Utilizing using Java, JEE based frameworks including Spring, Spring Batch, Web services, JPA , JSF, Hibernate, Primefaces, EJB, Use case Diagrams, Design documents to manage the design, and development of project solutions; and
- Reviewing codes and providing recommendations for solution implementation, utilizing Sonarcube, internal code reviews, fine tuning SQL queries, and Lazy loading implementation.
